A M Kannan
A M Kannan is a full professor and graduate engineering program chair at The Polytechnic School Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering- Arizona State University. He received his Ph.D (1990) in Electrochemistry from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore under the supervision of Prof. A K Shulka and MS (1985) in Chemistry from Madurai Kamaraj University, India. He comes along with rich academic and Industry experience. Prior joining at ASU, he served in reputed organizations as a scientist at SPIC Science Foundation, India (1991-1993), Technical head at Exide Batteries Ltd -India (1993-1999), Postdoctoral fellow at University of Texas at Austin, USA (1999-2002) & Chief Scientist-Hoku Scientific, USA (2002-2005). His current research interest includes Li-ion batteries, Fuel cells, and Photoelectrochemical water-splitting. He has authored several research papers in reputed journals and has many patents in his name. He is a recipient of many honors to name few Best Employee Award – Exide Battery Ltd, Dean’s Award for Faculty Excellence in Scholarly and Creative Activities, ASU and Fulbright Distinguished Chair Award (Helsinki University of Technology) by the Council for International Exchange of Scholars (Fulbright Scholarship), US Department of State. Currently, he serves as Associate Editor International Journal of Hydrogen Energy and Editor-in-Chief – Research and Reports in Chemistry

Pavan Badami

Pavan joined our group in Spring 2017 for his doctoral studies. His current research intrest lies in electrochemical storage systems (Solid state Li-ion batteries). He completed his MS in Mechanical Engineering (2016) from Arizona State University.

Xuan Shi

Xuan joined our group in Spring 2016 for his doctoral studies. His current research intrest lies in fuel cell cathode catalyst, gas diffusion layer . He completed his MS in Mechanical Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology .

Mohit Khatri

Mohit joined our group in Fall 2017. He is graduated with BS in Automobile Engineering from Gujrat technological university. and currently working on photoelectrochemical water-splitting.

Reem Abdelhay
Reem joined our group in Fall 2017 for her MS degree. She is currently working on the performance of Li-ion batteries for the hot and dry climate.

Bharati Ventakaraman
Bharati joined our group in spring 2017. She is currently working on hydrogen generation using electrochemical techniques

Travis Limerick
Travis joined our group in Fall 2017. Prior to joining ASU he worked on Aircraft hydraulic systems for defense. He is currently working on electrical and instrumentation of electrochemical testing equipment.
